In 2011, the Goodell Gardens Farmers Market saw great growth, allowing the market to expand to include 17 vendors over 13 weeks!
We are excited to announce that the market will return in 2012! Once again, farmers from Erie and Crawford Counties will be featured at Goodell Gardens Farmers Market, which opens June 20, 2012. The Market will be held Wednesdays from 3-6 p.m., through Sept. 29.

2011 featured vendors included:

Honeycutt’s Greenhouse, Fairview – perennial flowers and herbs
Peace by Piece Farm, Waterford – fruits, veggies, honey, cut flowers
Karen’s Garden Gate Salad Factory, Edinboro – salad greens, veggies, herbs, cut flowers
Showman Farms/Conneauttee Creamery, Edinboro –artisan cheeses: Gouda, Havarti, Jarlsburg and more
Beelzebub’s Salsa, Cambridge Springs – six varieties of fresh salsa
Dazzy’s Handmade Homemade, Union City – baked goods: breads, pies, cookies
B & R Greenhouse, North East – Heirloom veggies, annuals, herbs
Windover Farm, Cambridge Springs – veggies , perennials and Heirloom potatoes
Hurry Hill Maple Farm, Edinboro – maple syrup and maple products
Lone Oak, Cambridge Springs– Alpine perennials and herbs
Pine Run Farm, Conneautville – frozen chickens and eggs
Contented Boro Chix, Edinboro – fruits, veggies, maple syrup and eggs
Schultz Farm, Saegertown – fresh-cut herbs and flowers, fruits and veggies
Kantz Korner, Edinboro – fruits, veggies, herbs, flowers, annuals and perennials
Vanco Farms , Edinboro– corn and other veggies, eggs'
Honey House Holistic Bakery, Wattsburg - holistic baked goods

Offering produce, meat, cheese, eggs, honey, baked goods, maple products and more, residents might even be able to plan an entire meal from purchases from our vendors – complete with dessert!
Again this year, Goodell Gardens Farmers Market will accept the Farmers Market Nutritional Program Vouchers that are offered to eligible senior citizens and WIC recipients. For more information about these vouchers, or to receive your vouchers, contact your WIC office, or call (814) 756-5373. The Farmers Market Nutritional Program is offered by the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture.
The market will be held in the Events Barn and the surrounding events lawn, which is situated within easy access to our parking areas.
