Volunteer Opportunities at the Gardens

UPCOMING OPPORTUNITIES

• Garden Assistants: Weekdays, any time between 10 am and 4:30 PM preferred, starting April 29th (weather dependant). With lots of new plantings in the works, we will need help from those who love to get their hands dirty! The physical demands of this job include kneeling, lifting light weight, bending, digging and being outside for a couple hours at a time.

We need volunteers to help us with the following activities (Master Gardeners Welcome!!!!):

•  Gardens Maintenance (weeding, spring clean-up, mulching, planting, bed creation, etc)
•  Events (set-up and/or help during events, parking guides)
•  Giving tours of the Garden (training provided) or helping with school group tours.
•  Front Desk Help (must have customer service and cash register experience. Subject to interview and reference check)

Volunteers may also be needed for activities other than those listed above. Volunteer time is flexible, but must be during the Garden's hours of operation. Volunteers participate in Garden's activities at their own risk.
